The New York times has an interactive map showing the "safest" places to avoid a disaster. They seem to downgrade the Earthquake and Volcano Risk near the Cascade subduction zone on Washington and Oregon.
The Central Arizona Geology Club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at the Prescott Library at6:00 pmunless otherwise indicated. In 2016 the time has been moved to 6:00 due to shorter evening hours at the Prescott Library.

The Central Arizona Geology Club is a friendly group of people, both geologists and non-geologists, who get together monthly (except in summer) to hear a speaker and to share discoveries and ideas (show and tell time). We also try to have periodic field trips to areas of geologic interest. We have no dues.
