On Saturday June 7 you will have an opportunity to learn how to pan for gold. Roy Row, and experienced panner, will demonstrate techniques and get us started. Right now the location is still to be determined; it depends on how much water is flowing at different sites. This will be a morning trip. If you do not have a gold pan we will have a few available from Yavapai College for practice. If the monsoon rains come as scheduled, we may have a second trip in August for more serious panning.
