Wayne Ranney leads a great trip to the Trail of Time at the South Rim
On a windy and cold last Saturday Wayne Ranney lead the club on a great trip through the Trail of Time at the South Rim. The trail is a hike where every million years is one meter. There are brass plaques every 10 million years. We hiked all the way from the Precambran to the present-about two billion years.

Rock samples taken from all of the formations in the canyon are on pedestals at the appropriate place on the trail.

It was a great trip and a great way to view Geologic Time.
